MADRID –BARAJAS TERMINAL SATELLITE T4S AIRPORT

The expansion of the Madrid-Barajas Airport (now re-named Adolfo Suarez Airport) undertaken in 2000 consisted of the construction of a new T4 terminal and its satellite, the T4S, designed by architects Antonio Lamela and Richard Rogers (Rogers won the 2006 Stirling Prize for this project).

The satellite Terminal is 2,5 kilometres away from Terminal 4 (T4), and has a capacity of 15 million passengers a year.
